    Hi
I have a problem with Kontrol Z1 and sound from my speakers.I connected Z1 to my PC and to the Speakers Rokit 5(active) and I have a problem because I hear quite loud buzzing even when track is not playing . When is connected to the phone there is no problem and the sound is really good, and when I put the usb cable to the PC I hear buzzing even when the traktor is off. I use dc cable only when is connected to the phone.

I'm following these steps but it is not helping

    Thanks

I have found Behringer MICROHD Hum Destroyer HD400
and I thought could buy two 6.35mm (1/4 inch) Mono Jack plug to RCA Phono Socket ,
and maybe that solve my problem. What you think??

I am not sure but the power supply looks okay, better contacting your vendor!

I tried USB 2.0 and 3.0 and with both the same problem. I tried different cable, different socket and different extension lead, no result.

I bought it on ebay and it's used. I have contact with seller and he ensured me that there was no problem with it. I believe him because with iphone it's working properly, so needs to be something wrong with my PC.

I have bought on ebay HUM ELIMINATOR - GROUND LOOP ISOLATOR, and I hope that will fix the problem but I'm still waiting for it.

I reckon that unbalanced output is causing that problem. I had before S4 using balanced output and it was ok. I think if hum eliminator can't fix the problem I could try DI BOX with Twin RCA to 1/4 Jacks cables and that would convert signal from unbalanced to balanced, what do you think about it???

    Thanks

If the problem is solved with hum eliminator then that means better sound quality than before! :) if you think the s4 has worked because of the balanced cable then you can try the z1 too, but i think if cabling is good also must work with RCA cable,
what is your pc operating system and traktor pro version you use?

I have receiced hum eliminator and it's working but it's not perfect. Still can hear little hissing when music is off. I'm not sure what to do now, because I could live with it but it's not perfect and after some time can be annoying. On the other hand I could buy DI BOX withTwin RCA to 1/4 Jacks cables but I heard that converting signal via TWIN RCA TO 1/4 JACKS CABLES can cause sound quality loosing, is that true???

And DI BOX is one of the first steps that native instruments propose to eliminate hum sound

What Di Box should I buy active or passive?????
