Z1 controlling 4 decks

Hi,
I have a Z1 and X1mk2 and I could like to add an additional X1 or F1 for decks c and d.

* How can I configure the Z1 to route this audio?
* Could a custom mapping be used to toggle the Z1 channel 1 and channel 2 from decks a+b to decks c+d?

I amy be asking the wrong questions, I know

- I may be wrong, but the z1 is has a two channels only soundcard so you'll have difficulties trying to have two extra audio channels.
- audio aside, yes you could probably use a midi/user mapping based on a modifier to control two separate layers, but that's the worst idea ever. You'll have a lot of issues considering the controls on the z1 are eq and faders. You'll bump into knobs/faders positions issues (physical /relative), soft takeover issues, etc... Those controls need typically to have only one function dedicated to one deck so you know exactly where is what.

Short answer, you need to upgrade your 'mixer'.

 

Shame the Z1 is so portable. Their set up examples are a little misleading. Here they show a Z1 with X1 + F1.

If i load that mapping as per the instructions can I revert to a factory default Z1 mapping and how?
