Z1 Headphone monitor in mono only ?

    Hi,
    Just purchased a Kontrol Z1 and although the main outs are in stereo, I am only able to monitor through headphones in mono only.
    I have made sure that mono is unchecked in output routing in setup preferences.
    Should I be able to monitor in stereo or is the Z1 mono only for headphone monitoring ?
    Want to make sure I don't have a faulty unit.

    Wanted to clarify that when cueing through headphones I get both left and right channels, but a mono mix, not stereo.

    Sorry, but this is my first mixer, so I'm hoping someone can confirm whether the Z1 should give a stereo feed to my headphones.
