Z1 losing connection with Traktor after firmware update 16

    Hi

    I am having a new issue with my z1.
    Since around the time I did the last firmware up date, it seems to lose connection with Traktor after a while of playing. I start off and its all fine for a while then the issue happens.
    The sound card still works but Traktor does not respond or recognise an action from the sliders and knobs. I need to re start Traktor to get it to work again. I have to do this multiple times in a session.

    This si worse if `i take a break from playing, then go back to it but that is not the only time it happens

    I am using a Mac Book Pro with OX Yosemite 10.10.3. I am running Traktor Pro 2 with all drivers and firmware up to date.

    Any ideas?

    I have been having similar problems myself Kirstie, seems no one at NI has a clue and either we wait till the next Firmware update which will hopefully fix things or we find another controller, at the moment I'm leaning toward the latter

    I'm having the same issue as well. Does anyone have any ideas on ways to get the controller back working again without killing the sound? This happened to me in the middle of a set, so unplugging the USB cable and plugging it back in was not an option.

    Does this affect only Yosemite and Update 16 or reproducible on other versions? Or has this been mended?

    Latest update may resolve this. Check it.
    Otherwise your USB cable may be crap.

    Late reply but yes an update did resolve it finally
