Z1 & Traktor DJ 2 compatabilty?

I seem to be running into a few fairly serious issues whilst using the Kontrol Z1 and the new app with 2018 ipad. So far the reset button on the pitch does not work when touched, at all! It would be nice to see a few things carried over from the 1st app like mode + headphone cue to start a track. I agree that the effects implementation is improved and fun to use. So my main issue is the pitch reset and why does it not work? Also the 2 directional arrows beside the jogwheel also do nothing...any help or explanation is very welcome, thankyou.
