Z2 stuck in Int mode

I use a MacBook Pro 2.8 OSX 10.6. And two MK 5G 1210s
I just got my Z2 Saturday and I am new to Traktor.
When I first started it everything worked fine. When I came back to it the next day it
was stuck in INT mode
It wouldn't let me switch it to absolute/relative.
So I could t use the turntables
On the mixer the buttons would only stay lit green. [The REL/INT Buttons]
I tried to click it on the computer and it didn't work either.
I also tried to restart the computer with no luck.
Is this a software glitch? If so that is a bad one.
I couldn't do a set in int mode

Please help..

It just happened to me too! Its very frustrating... I cant figure it out. :angry:

Check to make sure your input routings didn't get deleted. Had it happen to me once.

 

Hi guys, did you return to the computer after it had been on standby ? (Lid closed?)

 

It happened to me too: I found by going into the settings and re-running the setup wizard on the bottom left of the settings preferences control panel it resets it and you should be good to go. You may have to unplug and reinsert the USB cable.

 

Input routing glitch

thanks guys thats what it was input routing changed unexpectedly ....they need an update.... it sucks

 

A couple of things that have happened since I bought T2.6 + Z2 double.
1. The output router changed on me after rebooting, making the control vinyl system useless.
2. The headphone cue stopped working after rebooting/start up. Ie it only played the live feed.

Both of theses issues were fixed with the setup wizard on traktor being initialized.

If I get it again i will submit a ticket.

hi, my 2.6 got stuck on internal mode too with the Z2 mixer....I had to hit the "restore" button on the audio configuration panel in settings/routing/restore button then it could go to relative mode once again and scratch mode worked fine again. thing is, I never knew why this got stuck on internal mode to begin with? weird.

If this happens at a gig It will be very very bad.

i just switched from serato and the last thing I need is stability/reliability issues. it's making me nervous.

It gets stuck in Rel/Intl and then you do setup wizard, and then you load your setting and it goes back to Rel/Intl.

I swear! I'm going to sell this piece of junk!

It was working fine 5 minutes ago... Had to update Firefox, restart my computer and BAM!

Have you opened a support ticket with NI regarding your problem?
I've had this happen once so far and wizard sorted it out. I'm concerned there is a bug in the latest software that is causing this to happen.

 

Just reselect the input routing settings... it is a bug, but it take 5 seconds to correct.

 

I'm not saying I don't understand how to fix the problem. My problem is I just spent 700 dollars on a mixer and it has bugs in it!

 

By your post above, you were running the setup wizard each time, which does not necessarily fix the input routings.

And it's not a bug with the mixer, but the software itself.

 

I returned mine and got the Rane 62
I couldn't have that happen live at a show.
Traktor makes good stuff. I just don't think the software
Matches the mixer yet.

 

I opened a ticket w ni and they have absolutely no idea! I referenced this thread to them. They said the would try to simulate the problem using similar setups... Yes it's an easy fix, (settings;z2;restore default) works for me, but the fact that it exists with this flagship device it's extremely bad for the integrity of the software in my opinion. On top of crackles and pops when pressing buttons, Traktor is failing.

Vinyl I'm sorry I left you! And cdjs your my new beeatch along with a djm 850!

 

I wait for the day that I can connect my computer, plug in the Z2, open Traktor and it will be ready to go!
Similar to the days of me using the Audio 8!
I miss those days!

 

im getting the same issue i thought it was because i had installed the wrong version of traktor scratch pro 2, i thought traktor pro was the same software. but no one works for controllers while the other one works with cdj and vinyl.

 

I have the same problem but only the left channel stays green and I’ve tried the above but no luck,it’s really pissing me of though,I’ve had other issues with this mixer and software it seems to do what it wants from one day to the next,turn it off and it changes **** by itself.
If you want to ruin your dj reputation use this crap and it will be sure to let you down. Still need help though if anyone has any ideas.
