Z2 vs. X1 + DJM400

Would really appreciate it if you guys could help me decide the best direction for my setup..

I currently have 2 CDJ 400s and a DJM 400 hooked up to Traktor, but I want to have a setup which enables me to intuitive control of Traktor without touching the laptop as often!

For this I have considered using the Z2 mixer in place of the DJM 400. Or the X1 controller (in addition to the CDJs and DJM400). Either of these would enable me to have more control of the effects/track selection etc, but i'm unsure of which would be best.

So far i've figured out the following:

External mixer (DJM400) + X1 + CDJ 400s...

Positives: The price much cheaper than buying Z2. Can control all 3 FX units (instead of just macro FX). Smaller - Won't need new flight case.

Negatives: No Macro FX. Can't record mix without extra cables. Need to run through the Audio 4. Less integrated/More cables and mess.

Traktor Z2 + CDJ 400s

Positives: Can control almost everything in Traktor from one unit. Less cables. The addition of Macro FX. Control of Remix Decks/Extra cue's (which I would not often use).

Negatives: Much bigger (need new flight case). Can't control all 3 FX Units. Would lose all the external FX that come with the DJM400 mixer.

So these are the positives and negatives... I'm thinking if it's worth loosing the external FX + 3 FX units on the X1 setup, in place for just 1 macro FX on the Z2 setup.

Please enlighten me with your thoughts/experience!

What did you go for? I'm in the same situation but minus actually already having Traktor and wondering what to do, A6, X1 & F1 or just get the Z2?
