Z4 a pipe dream?

    I am about to buy a pio or A&H 4 channel mixer. Wish NI had made a 4 channel mixer like the Z2. Anyone think this will ever happen?

    The NI product line is really fragmented. even in the NI demo videos of the D2 show the DJ use a non NI mixer. To bad because the Z2 was one of NI better products.

    I'd say the D2 will be a catalyst for the Z4 happening. Probably once the S5 is well and truly established, and when Traktor/Maschine integration is imminent, as I'd say that would be one of the main driving forces behind a Z4.

    Then again, it might take a standalone unit like a S1 or D1 to really push it forward. Either way, I expect a Z4 would be part of a future batch of products that complement each other (i.e. the S8, D2 and S5 as one such phase, for example).
