Zebra 2.3 does not show up in Kore2

Hi,

today I updated to Zebra 2.3, unfortunately it does not show up in Kore2 anymore. (worked fine with the old version, the new version 2.3 is e.g. working in Bidule just the Kore2/Zebra 2.3 combination is problematic).

I already rebuilt the entire database, rescanned the vst plugins and following a suggestion of the Zebra2 developer I searched for a Zebra2.ksd file in the Kore2 database directory (which I could not find there).

Any idea what could be wrong?

Unfortunately the dev doesn't have Kore2 himself so he can't reproduce it on his side. Had anybody success using Zebra 2.3 in Kore2 or do we have a general problem here?

 

You just need to delete the zebra 2.ksd from your Database cache folder which will force Kore to rescan it from fresh.

The Kore database cache on Win is in Documents and settings/yourusername/Local Settings\Application Data\Native Instruments\Kore 2\Database Cache

 

Yep. You'll also need to delete the Zebralette and Z-Rev .ksds from the database cache as well; they don't show up either.

It is working now! I did not look in the local settings folder and the wonderful Vista search option leaves out all folders that the user is not supposed to know about...
