    hi,

im trying to work without looking at my screen but looking at the maschines own lcd's and currently i cannot zoom into samples while using the hardware.

The information on the current beta manual is simply to zoom in on the software i am trying to zoom in on the actual maschine displays.

The 6 knobs on the maschine hardware in sampling mode (rotary) do nothing , i want to be able to pan left and right , zoom in and out on the sample and make more accurate cuts using solely the maschine not having to touch my mouse or look at the computer screen.

you see if you have a long wav file, and you are trying to make accurate cuts each twist of a knob to alter start and end times jumps by a massive amount (trim), with the help of a internal zoom the start and end times on the knob that controls this (trim)should decrease the amount according to zoom level.

so for example i have a 4 min full wave that i am chopping currently i cannot cut accuratly on the maschine as the trim functions move by a drastic amount even when holding shift this could be resolved if they had a simple algo to work out the length of the sample /zoom rate and make the trim functions move more slowly (lower increments),

but really and trueley maybe the shift function needs a alt function as well, say for eg pressing shift and mute while in sampling mode to move the trim so its even more precise (moves in lower increments).

but a zoom feature on the controller is a must to really do away from the computer screen.

I suspect something like this is coming in the next update.

+1. We need this! Currently, cycling through a long sample is a bit slow.
