As an intern, you will become a member of our international team and take care of certain tasks on your own as well as work on special projects with active support of your supervisor. Through constant feedback during your tenure, we aim to help you learn as much as possible and grow as a person.

Please apply at least two months before you would like to join us using the online application form. Your application should include your cover letter, CV and your latest university transcript.

As a working student, you are allowed to work up to 20 hours a week during university and up to 40 hours in term breaks. You will support our teams actively in the day-to-day business and gain valuable experience. As a working student at Native Instruments you can turn your theoretical knowledge into practice.

Native Instruments offers the following apprenticeship opportunities:
  • Digital media designer
  • Management Assistant for Marketing Communication
  • Clerk
  • Qualified IT specialist for system integration
  • Wholesale and International Trade Specialist

Please note that we cannot offer all apprenticeships every year. Check our website and the IHK website regularly for all current apprenticeship listings. All updated job postings can be found here.

Each apprenticeship is divided into areas of practical training at Native Instruments and theoretical training at a vocational school (Berufsschule). The overall duration of an apprenticeship is 3 years. German language skills are necessary due to education in German at the Berufsschule. From your first day at NI, you will be part of a team and will actively support ongoing projects. All apprentices at Native Instruments participate in regular round tables (Azubi-Stammtische) in order to get to know each other and to stay in touch.

Apprenticeships usually start in the spring or autumn of each year. You can also join earlier as an intern in order to get to know us and the career path you have chosen.

If you are interested in applying for an apprenticeship at NI, please include a cover letter, your CV, and recent school transcripts. We sometimes ask apprentices for samples of their work which should be included in your application.

We also welcome applications from apprentices already in their first or second year of education!
