DESCRIPTION

the dansant is very simple to use.
Just run the clock, and click on the dancers.

The integrated bubu-bossa composer (tm) will generate a new groovy pattern that will be played just in time, using a fresh new drum kit (127 keys of space and exotic sounds)

The audio engine is just a simple fm synth that use 2 ops, and the R66, filter delay and magic compressor are stolen from the library (steam pipe and R2.3 lib)

The very cool thing is the use of event tables to store and recall each key settings. I hope to publish soon a new synth with more knobs using the bubuControl macro (modèle breveté).

thanks for the leviathan \"agc\" and \"lastvoice8\" macros.

And don\'t forget to be cha-cha at each moment of the day (and the night too)

Updated ! : now works with G4 (AD env bug)

have been using this a fair bit recently to make wierd loops to resample it sounds great when heavily processed, although the dancers do freak me out

I find randomly-generated synths to be the funnest of all... one click and it's a whole new thing. Dansant is the beat to Metaphysical Function's texture.

P.S. It it just me or is it the funniest thing as you push up the tempo the dancers get more frantic!!! :)

Could it be possible to make separate outputs for the sounds in the future????greetings from spain
lorenzo contarini

yes please try to make separate outs for the sounds , is difficult to eq all the elements plus the delay and reverb all in one ! anyway this ens is great it would be good to have at least some parameters in view, to avoid total random :)

I'd love to try the sequenced version, must be a PC/Mac compatibility issue - very interesting looking ens, though! Don't be disheartened, bubu, we appreciate you taking the time to share your work!

the sequencer doesn't work here too (on Peecee) and in standalone the only way to have it to make some sounds is to play the computer keyboard,it doesn't receive any midi note from the midi keyboard but it receives them from the comp keyb (??!!??) i tried to "rebuilt/change" the midi "note pitch" but it still doesn't work correctly,i dont get it.... as vsti it receives the midi notes correctly but still doesnt play the internal sequences... it's a very nice/funny .ens,really....

Thanks for the feedback :-) I work now on a more serious ensemble based on the same bubuControl macro, but this time with more knobs to play with... Happy bubu° (from bubuland)

This is actually very clever really. For me it doesn't play auto but programming notes in my sequencer and then running that, can create some interesting sounds...then clicking on the dancers changes it all. Cool ;)

Darko, I'm sorry if you didn't hear anything. thé dansant is not a kind of fake. I added a mp3 sample of what you should have heared - justclicking.mp3. i'm disappointed to have spent some hours with reaktor to build something fun to share with other reaktor users. I dowloaded the file and checked it again : it works fine here (macOs 9.2.2/R 3.02) The ensemble HAS a panel. If you click on the dancers and play some notes, you should notice at least some sounds. If you click again, you should even notice that sounds have changed for each key. Now, with the sequence, it works here with the standalone version. I'm sorry if, due to some R4 bug or limitation, it doesn't work on your system. But if you program a drum pattern in cubase and play it with the dansant, you may even have some fun too, just clicking. Sorry if you think you've wasted your bandwidth, it was definitely not my goal. sad bubu° :-(

have you clicked the dancers ? On the mac, you must first click the dancers to initiate the sequence. I tried to find another way to sequence (without internal midi notes) but I failed to keep the ensemble polyphonic, and no answer from the user forum about the problem with cubase and internal midi notes. I had to have a midi port set, in and out in the instrument properties to make it work - an oms iac bus to loop the instrument to itself. May be is it the reason you get no sequence... I post an mp3 sample to let you ear what I get here with my little toy. Please try again using R4 stand-alone, and let me know...

just in case anyone wants to waste their bandwidth downloading this - it has no panel and no output
Terry Engelbrecht

Sequence doesn't appear to work (sound only from keyboard input). PC, standalone.
