A SHIFTING EDIFICE OF SOUND

60人編成の大型ストリングスセクションをサンプリングしたThrenody Stringsは、コルレーニョ、クラスター、クラウド、グリッサンドなどの奏法を使いながら自由にテクスチャーを作ることができます。このような前衛的で特殊な演奏技術は、かねてからSFやホラー系サウンドトラックの土台として使われて来ました。Threnodyにはオーケストラの全音域をサンプリングした26種類のアーティキュレーションを収録。X-Yコントローラーを使ってこれらのアーティキュレーションを重ねることで、斬新なオーケストラの形や動きを創作することができます。
