This synth differs from other common types due to its sound synthesis engine. It takes four oscillators – two sine and two squares – and combines their signals to create new textures.

Combination methods are either addition or multiplication. Addition is well-known, any synth with multiple oscillators adds them together. The multiplication of two oscillators together though, creates new sounds, especially when the waves are out of sync (e.g. playing one oscillator seven semitones above the other).

The main knob (biggest) blends between different algorithms for combining the oscillators, for example, all the way to the left simply adds the signals together. All the way to the right, however calculates (A+B+C)*D. In between these ends are several other formulas and you can easily add more.

Each oscillator has its own velocity-independent adsr which can further sculpt the sound and the main adsr is great for the final result.
