Reaktor 5 or lower

DESCRIPTION

My first Reaktor instrument. It\'s a mono synth that uses the 8-ramp oscilator and wave shapers to make it\'s noise. (What, no filters?) The clever stuff is the way the 8-ramp is controlled. 2-dimensional control of the feeder signals followed by two dimensional permutations of the orders of these signals. All with modulation.

Probably not as exciting as it sounds but it is good at rude bass noises, strange circular sweeps and suprisingly twinkly noises.

Anyway, let me know what you think because I\'m thinking of making a twin oscillator poly version.

Cheers,

Ab

Errm, so I forgot to connect up the output didn\'t I. Well that\'s fixed. I\'ve also made the scope more stable, made the lights prettier, and added a load of snapshots.

I've just downloaded this again and as far I can tell it contains the ensemble file. You might need to add a .ens to the end of the extracted file, or open it explicitly with Reaktor. BTW I created on a Mac.

For some reason some people wanted to turn it down - can't think why. So the new version sports a master volume control. I've also added a smoother to the output for times when you don't want all that nasty aliasing.

I think I'm going to be at Burning Man on the 5th, but I'll look out for other stuff. BTW I'm a friend of Tom and Ruth.

this is a very nice idea and produces a different synth noise. if you want an unusual synth, then try this.
