Reaktor 5 or lower
Instrument Sampler

DESCRIPTION

A new and improved version of the Very Simple Grainer, with some new features, fixes and a couple of new samples. I've moved controls around, added the very nice sounding Core saturator that comes with Reaktor 5, added LFOs to the grain size and speed parameters, and fine tuned a couple of other things.

The idea is to have a simple and usable instrument that's easy to customize, doesn't use excessive CPU and isn't full of unnecessary cruft like processor intensive reverb (you know the one I mean). There's a short screencast with sound here:

Ron - sounds like you're not mapping the samples properly. Try this - http://reaktortips.blogspot.com/2008/01/pro-tip-sample-maps.html Also, you have to select "loop on" for each of your samples, and set the start and end points.

Doesn't work here on Logic 9. Replaced sample and had to go to sample 8 and all waveforms disappeared. Then wave plays through from beginning to end.

Hum, that's weird - it replaced the "o" with a space in the url.

Joseph, check out what I did in this one - http://reaktortips.blogspot.com/2009/03/frame-03-beta-download.html - it offers the choice of using either knobs or the mouse area to set loop points.

Great instrument. Is there a way to manipulate the loop start and end points?

It's an instrument. It responds to incoming MIDI note on and off messages. Play some notes!

Excuse my ignorance. Am I missing something? I got no sound. Is this an Insert or a Send?

Thanks guys, glad you like! Phil - as I built this, I had in mind our talk about the importance of the essential (vs. premium) library in R3.

I downloaded an earlier version of this and thought it was brilliant in its simplicity and functionality.
