Reaktor 5 or lower
Instrument Sampler

DESCRIPTION

Sometimes simplicity is what you want in a sampler.

Frame 2 gives you live control over a sample's loop start and end points, either by dragging on the waveform or mapping MIDI CCs to the knobs.

Most controls should be self explanatory, and the inner structure is neat, clean and conducive to hot-rodding.

Frame 2 is part of the Reaktor sampling pack available at reaktortips.com

Mark, over the waveform window is a mouse area layer. Step inside to the grain sampler and press F7 to load our own waves.

OK - really basic question, but how do I get a wav sample to play in this. I have tried dragging and dropping into the waveform window or loading a wav from the disk but nothing is happening.

Peter thanks for the upload. Could you Sort and Compress IDs and choose Instrument Up, because at the moment the ID numbers start really high. Also, can you have Panel to MIDI checked for your CC Mapping as this would prevent jumps when using Controllers. Thanks in advance

Ten 2 Peter, wonderful! Granular was this thing I came to Reaktor session and became a furious builder of LEGO macros, doing by others.

Thanks John. That's the problem with Mirage - it can be hard to stop it and try to actually get some music done! Make sure you save that snap. Any chance of uploading an mp3 of your variation of Green Eyes?

I can NEVER have enough granular devices...each one having it's own personality to exploit. Peter's overall bundle is also proving to be quite inspiring, I modified one snap in 'Mirage' and have had it playing for hours now! And yes, 'Granite' is also very cool, again having a distinct philosophy, personality, and parameter limits and access affects how these devices are interacted with and used so each winds up unique to my ears. I still can't seem to press stop on that one 'Mirage' snap (my own initial variation on 'Green Eyes', too cool...thanks Peter.

/me googles it Wow, that is pretty similar looking! But Granite came out in 2010 and the first release of Frame was in 2009: http://www.reaktortips.com/2009/03/frame-03-beta-download.html It was originally inspired by Ableton's Simpler instrument, which I loved but wanted to be able to use in other hosts. Loupe and Mirage have also been knocking around my hard drive for a while before I got around to polishing them for release.
