Reaktor 5 or lower

DESCRIPTION

This is a fairly simple synth with a versatile oscillator section and a characterful filter. A spreadable saw, a variable-width pulse, a smooth sub oscillator, and a filtered noise source are sent through a saturated feedback filter. Envelopes, LFOs, and various expression controls are available to modulate and morph the sound. Then the output is routed to a warming distortion, a stereo chorus, a feedback delay and a lush reverb.

Over 120 snapshots are included: mostly basses, leads, and pads, with a few other sounds thrown in as well. And a simple, clear layout makes it easy for you to create your own sounds. Enjoy!

CHANGELOG:
1.0.5: initial release
1.0.6: added voice panning, fixed a few GUI bugs (existing snapshots are still compatible)
1.0.7: reduced clicking when when velocity decreases between two notes in Mono and Unison modes
1.1.1: fixed delay timing bug, added 35 new snapshots, added subtraction mode for band-reject/inverted filter responses, added extra 2-pole lowpass available on filter, and added increased spread options for saw oscillator
1.1.2: GUI update

excellent snapshots, and so fun to use. I just made an entire track from re-sampling over and over jamming/tweaking the already excellent sounds, excellent job.

This is an excellent sounding synthesizer from the very first moment of use. The UI is a in the "flat fad", but it's visually nice, otherwise. My only critique at the moment (aside from hating the flat fad) is that the Effects page selection "button" should be at the bottom with the rest. It took me a bit of time to find where the effects were. Otherwise, i'm having fun exploring the wonderful sounding presets. Thanks for this synth!

Thank you for this amazing instrument! It alone represents a response to critics of virtual instruments!Small question ... how fell against the cpu please? (Sorry to ask here if this is not the place ...)

Excellent sound, highly tasteful and playable snapshots, plus an uncluttered and intelligently designed UI. What more does a synthesist need? Damned if I know! Many thanks ;-)

This sounds outstanding. It's does the simple, but rich and full tones that I prefer to use without having to mess with annoying routing.

I never post something elsewhere, but when i started to play with this "little" thing, i cant stop celebrating. I just wanted to say: THAAAAAAAANKS !!!!!!! - this is one of the best sounding Synths i ever used. You should get an award for this. Maybe one time i am famous, i will shout out BIIIG PROPS to YOU and NI. People download it !! P.S. sorry its no Spam, just my heart thats drifting away :))))

I feel this synth cannot be over-hyped. It is incredible, from its intricate design to its downright simple interface. You can dig as deep as you want or just as deep as you need and everything sounds incredible. This is a free synth. And that's incredible too, because it outclasses many expensive ones. Wish I could give it six stars. Exceptional!

I don't think I have anything other Reaktor ensembles that are as solid as this synth. The design is just gorgeous. There is SO MUCH packed into such a small space! It's always easy to find what you're looking for, yet there's never enough knobs on screen to feel overwhelmed. And the sound is downright incredible! 10/10

I've isolated and fixed an issue where low velocity values could cause clicks.

I like it a lot. One minor annoyance is that there's some sort of clicky sound during note transitions. To hear it, select snap 28 (Karthago), then softly and rapidly play alternating notes.

Great and simple to use synth, reminds me a bit of Carbon. One tip for more easy gui design, just put all graphics you use for the labels in one png-strip, then you just have to copy the Label and select the image via index under the function tab of the Label module, instead of config each graphic file one by one.

I've made an update that fixed a couple of GUI issues and added stereo capabilities for Poly and Unison modes (as suggested in the comments by Phil Durrant :) ). Any existing snapshots should still be compatible with the ensemble.

this is a great upload - not only has time been spent on the GUI, time has been spent on creating some very good Snapshots that really show this off. An easy 5 starts for me. I do have a suggestion for a future development and this would be mono and poly Stereo Unison Spread. salamander anagram - ADSR Tutorials - did a resent tutorial showing how to do this. Anyway this is still a great upload!

This is really cool! I'm incredibly impressed by the GUI - it's super easy on the eyes, and is jam-packed full of features. Yet, it never seems overwhelming, and there's never any confusion about where everything is. It's perfectly intuitive! The sound is also really nice, and the presets banks are sick! Seriously, from a useability standpoint, this is downright inspiring. Kudos!

I hate to be greedy, but I hope you're planning on developing more - this is an absolutely perfect instrument. It could not be better designed for what it does. Thanks and kudos!

Hats off and chapeau mille fois! What a beautifully designed ensemble – GUI-wise and soundwise. An example par excellence for every demanding synth-designer; in fact on a similar level to the NI ensembles like Kontour etc. Once again: Hats off and Thank You!
