DESCRIPTION

To allow triplet-notes the resolution had to be improved. The visual feedback (modulation-ring with 96 segments) is still missing.

Sory , I had one of the clock dividers set to up and the other to donw mode ...that 's the reason timing was of ... Stupid me

TRiplets are off with around 50 milliseconds . 96/24 for a quarter (clockdivider) 96/16 for triplets . First beat is always of with around 40 milleseconds . Both clockdividers had reset time

Unfortunately this block doesn't actually do compound or triplets. What it does have is a nice trick using the reset output as the clock pulse (rather than the clock output). Because the clock is running so fast one can approximate where a triplet might occur (loosely and at faster tempi) as long as the clock reset is enabled at a low number so as to "bounce back" a start time before the quazi-triplets actually show up as out of sync, but where any changes in reset value changes the tempo. I like the creative use of the reset as gate though, has some nice creative possibilities. It's all just data at the end of the day I guess. I have been searching down low in the core to find where I can change the Gate subdiv values but I cannot locate it (which is what I believe needs to happen - the Gate needs to have 6, 12 and 24 added to it, not just 4, 8, 16, 32 etc). Adding a clock divider is of no use either unless the clock divider did decimal points, another thing I have been trying to make happen. Any ideas on where in the core structure one would find this Thomas? Nice job in any case, congrats on doing this, so so close. :-)

Great job! Thank you very much for posting it. I have noticed that the graphics on the clock divider block have a hard time keeping up at the faster clock rate. Maybe you shouldn't bother with the visual feedback when the gate is set to 96th.
