HOW TO SET UP YOUR KOMPLETE KONTROL KEYBOARD

Native Access is a small cloud-based application that handles downloads, installation, and updates for Native Instruments software. It’s the easiest way to get all your music creation tools ready for use, so you can spend more time making music and less time managing products.

  • If you already have Native Access, just start the application.
  • You’ll be asked to log in with your NI account. If you don't have one, you can create one within the app.
  • Please pay particular attention to the Installation Preferences – see below for details.
STEP 2: ENTER SERIAL NUMBER

Select ‘Add serial’, and enter your KOMPLETE KONTROL serial number as shown on the flyer in your product box or on the underside of your keyboard.

Please note: It may take several minutes before your software is ready to be installed. Check availability with the refresh button.

STEP 3: INSTALL SOFTWARE

Install the KOMPLETE KONTROL software, individual KOMPLETE Instruments and Effects, and MASCHINE Essentials.

In order to create the necessary preset databases, both the KOMPLETE KONTROL software and MASCHINE Essentials should be launched once in standalone mode prior to being used as a plug-in.

The latest firmware makes sure that your keyboard supports all the latest software features. To update, connect your keyboard to your computer and run the Device Updater app.
