DESCRIPTION

EDIT: included a basic internal synthesizer to use in place of channel two input, added instruction to make basic use a little clearer in case no one is reading this

wavelet cross synthesis based on the ezfft phase vocoder. clicking around in the wavelet transform ensemble pioneered by blok dac and salamander anagram, i noticed that inside the modify block were conversions to amplitude and phase, and after about forty five minutes carpal tunnel inducing click drags, i was able to implement the wavelet equivalent of cross synthesis. i'm not sure if this sounds better or worse than the ezfft version, but it is a working proof of concept. make sure to send amplitude input to channel one, and pitched input to channel two.

i liked the idea of pitch and amp analysis being on independent input channels. Then resynthesized. i couldn't name a vst that does so.

having used a little more, i'd say the high's are snappier and the bass seems truer, which are the advantages one would expect from using wavelets
