DESCRIPTION

Version 0.6:
There was a bug in 0.5 whereby if a sequential note-off and note-on were quantised to the same tick, the note-off was dropped leaving the new note with no gate re-trigger. Now fixed.
--------------------------------

The factory 'Util Note In' Block drops/hangs notes in some circumstances making it unreliable. There doesn't seem to be an easy fix, the problem is a fundamental design issue rather than a coding error.
This Block uses scratch built MIDI handling code and doesn't have the same problems.

It features various modes and controls for portamento and retrigger.

It lacks control over Mod Wheel and Pitch Bend, although those are available as outputs.
Also missing is portamento that doesn't reset when all keys are off.

Any problems, suggestions or feature requests, please post a comment. If it's important, try on the forum for a quicker response.

Thanks for making this, only just discovered the 'dropped note' bug in the library Note In block, so happy to have found this alternative, great work!

the moment - when you figure out (not on your own) that the most innocent looking block in your chain doodles hopelessly wrong....thank you guardian angel!

Excellent block! Works well and fixes the fundamental issues with the factory Note In block. Indispensable for me and in all of my custom synths now.

Just want to make it clear in case anyone is worried. This Block does not cause crashes. My understanding is that there was a release of Reaktor just prior to the one used to build this that didn't correctly detect ensembles made with a newer Reaktor versions, resulting in crashes. It's not a fault with the Block! just make sure you're not using an old version of Reaktor.

Hi Steve, crash logs wont help me because I don't have access to Reaktor source code. Best thing to do is start a thread on the Reaktor forum, it's much easier to discuss problems there. When you've done that, I'll do what I can to help you find a solution.

The Note In Block from Reaktor is super buggy with Note offs and Stuck notes. I really want this to work but on both of my rigs this Midi Note 2 CV.ism crashes Reaktor. I get an error message saying that Reaktor has crashed. I can send you the error messages and crash logs if you think it will help. I'm using this on Reaktor 6 latest version on Window 10 Pro 64bit latest version.

When I load this block it immediately crashes Reaktor. Any thoughts as to how to fix that?
