Also a great fan of your body of work! Very glad that arachnaut drew some lines between your current and former aliases.

The UL search can be mysterious. Like wandering a labyrinthine archive set near a black hole. Perseverance can really pay off. But even legendary creators have gaps in their back-catalog; where we who arrived late can only wonder... Now one such personage just suddenly reappears stating "I have been building all along, and..." Are we tantalized? Oh yes!... Thanks for ALL your wonderful and edifying builds!

Rick, I started with Reaktor 3. I learned a lot from you and others by getting involved in the Reaktor Builder's discussion group, serving as editor. I remember you HeIsHere version examples and comparisons. I think that the version changes from release to release were due to improvements in the DC offset and aliasing of the newer oscillators and filters in Primary. At least that is what I recall from that time.

I think I've been trying (and mostly failing) for decades to make something as utterly cool and alive as heishere was for 2.3. I still believe that it sounded best on 2.3, a bit sharper and the reverb a bit more other worldly.

arachnaut it's great to hear from another old-timer! We've both been at this longer than some of the UL members have been alive probably! I started with Reaktor 2.3, how about you?

Rick has had many pseudonyms - Ashwaganda, I think, Rick Scott, rachmiel scott and just rachMiel. And maybe other spellings. More if you count for strange biCapItaliZations. There are many other monstrosities series he has posted, too. I made a collection of my favorites of his uploads and posted them under the 'rachToys' instruments in some of my uploads. He is my heRo.

I see now 8 and 9 are in the UL, didn't come up when I did a search the first time.

Oh, you've had more than one good idea! #6 is way different from #10, along with many other great ones. But where do you find 8 and 9?

It's definitely the sound of the 'real' me. That's probably why I keep making variations on it, they're like self portraits. Fear? Roger that, has been a good close friend my whole life.

Thanks guys! Been a while since I've uploaded here, though I've been building Reaktor monstrosities all along, so I might be vomiting up a bunch over the next weeks. Not my animated GIF, I should have added a citation, but I don't know whose it is! Yeah, I agree, it's cool. Funny how 20+ years later I'm still making the same kinds of Reaktor ensembles. Who was it that said we keep doing variations on the one good idea in us? ;-)
