Reaktor 5 or lower
Instrument Sampler

DESCRIPTION

what to say more???
set the tempo in the toolbox and press play, select preset one pattern A 0 and change the pattern to have the demo.then try preset 2 and 3.tutorial is in the main tip (the one of the instrument).I might add few things in the future like the possibility to route the slices to some effects.if you want special things ask and I'll try:-)

I took the demo sample from an other instrument in the lib but can't remember where, sorry I think it's an instrument from DJriktor but ain't sure.
have fun!!!!

The more I play with this thing, the more I realise it's one of the best sample slicer things ever uploaded! Erwan - I would like to discuss possible modifications with you: are you available to email?

yes, sorry....i think this is very good. don't change the pattern selection it is nice that it is different. it does sound really good...it is one of the best ever sequenced resynth ensembles. my comments looked worse than they were meant to be.

thanks J.Paul, the ten has stay 48h hihi...,and I will also implement a reset button to easy start transform your sound, and i'll try with a pitch former to see what I get.

I think Mr Durrant was having a bad day. I think this sounds tremendous, having great fun feeding stuff through it, not a drumbeat in sight either....I like that it manages to do so much to your sound without any nasty clicks.

ouf! i was a bit upset by your first post;-) the pattern selection was like this on my D20,but I'lll change it.and I know one day I'll do something real "real time",just don't know what it will be on the moment...

....also for me the pattern selection is a bit strange....changing "banks" has no effect until you change a pattern in that bank. maybe this is normal on synths, i can't remember?

it is much clearer to understand now that you have uploaded it with a sample. this is good for mangling you old "dull" samples and recording more exciting new ones. maybe a little over complicated to use as a "real-time" ensemble.

thanks kevin,I'll do it,but I'll keep the scrolls, cause its a bit hard to set the start when using 128 slices... and could someone rate it please ?

I like this. It's great for riffs. I think it would be easier to use if the table views expanded and contracted when you set the length ( like in the Dieter Zobel stuff) and i think the table scrolls are unecessary. All-in-all, excellent stuff.

hi phil:-),sorry my update from komplete was not saving the sample with it!I didn't put more snaps cause the 20 pattern are already filled, and as it is a kind of rewriter for rythm everybody will have his own setting.basically use snapshot to save configuration for the know pattern is used to recal the table. the clok div are dividing the 1/96 midi clock so you can run them at different speed, might be gate and pitch twice slower than the others,so it depends of the sample you load and the use you have of this instrument.and for the the calc speed I mean beat:-)how to say it.... if your beat goes poum tchak, poum tack, count the number of poum in your sample;lol in another way a 4/4 signature have 4 beat.but now I think that you might not use 4/4:-/ let me know if you want another way of finding the speed.I put back the value of the slice button,I put it away cause I didn't find it usefull. looking at the sample is more easy and sorry I forget that I upload for musicians also;o) slice is a function 2power (slice button value) so when you see 0,1,2,3,4,5,6 it means 1,2,4,8,16,32,64,128 slices.with only eigth slice you can do good thing with it using the loop length.128 slice is more to use the slices looped to do sound more than rythm but you can mix. I'm very happy your are interested in my little instrument to tell you the truth I did the pattern stuff thinking of you.please tell me what you think of it and improvment that could be done.

erwan, you have uploaded this without any samples. i think it would be good to upload it again with a sample and also some more snaps. also when you say calculate the speed with the number of beats do you mean quarter beats sixteenth beats? and the slice should have a value. is power of 2, times 2? what do you mean?

you can also use it with non ryhtmic samples.;-)
