DESCRIPTION

*Found major bug in the scales event table.

Some how I managed to change the Y size of the scale event table and deleted 90% of the scales. I've fixed the event table and the scales should work properly now.

Sorry 'bout the hassle,
Cheers
Dean

Terminal Glitch is a 4 track Percussion/Melody Sequencer especially designed for IDM and Glitch music, although it can be used for any sort of music you like.

It features 4 Oscillators each with dedicated Gate Sequence and Filter section. A global pitch sequence (scale sequence is a more suitable name) with a list of predefined scales to choose from and a user definable scale which is capable of microtonal scales. Automatable faders (some dedicated, others assignable) and a repeater section based on Exile's Glex module. The sequencers also feature controllable step randomization.

Please click on the 'B' view for further utilities and a small user manual covering some of the more complex operations.

Big thanks to Rick Scott (my randomizers are a poor man's version of his excellent macros), Clist (song/pos clocks) and Theologiae (for the sequencer tutorial) and many others for the inspiration.

This is my first my first upload so don't hold back. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
Dean

Dear Mr Lowe, as soundtrack composers we not often take time to credit people like you, I would like to thanks you for your Terminal Glitch and a particular patch I used as a loop for a recording with an orchestra at Abbey Road, England, for a Finnish series called Replacements. I unfortunately do not have any way to contact you, so this why this forum is used. Terminal Glitch is now 10 years old but still very inspiring '-)

Man you totally read my mind! V2 is very close to being finished and I have added Quantise and Sample Reduction aswell as each OSC having it's own Shaper (filter section).

My excuse is simply being a "Dean".

...I would only add that the addition of a Wavetable Oscilator would make this thing SUPREME.

VERY NICE!! Have only used it a short while but can tell that this is an outstanding design!! I REALLY like the combination of the "Scale Sequencer" thru the Randomizers/matrix mod. Few snaps included sound great too!

Thanks again for all your kind comments. ; ) Version 2 is under way, if anyone has any suggestions please do. At the moment it will include, wavetables, more effects, drive for the OSC filters and I'm re-working modulation routing (modulation per control). And hell yes Don should make some snaps for this! Cheers Dean
