DESCRIPTION

v.1.2 - Cirrus will send a sync signal when the clock starts. Added a Pitch input to allow for keytacking and pitch shifting at the same time. Also added a button above the pitch knob that changes how the envelope syncs to a pitched up grain. This hopefully will make cirrus more compatible with oscillators.

I just added the time stretching knob back. I think I may have gotten rid of the freeze bug. Please let me know if anyone has an issue.

Outsomn Grain is now CirrusGRAIN. For those who perfer the simplicity of Outsomn Grain, I included the old version. CirrusGRAIN is built to allow maximum manipulation of it's granular buffers. This block offers 4 mod inputs (ABCD). Please read info of each knob for further explanation of the process.

Note: Due to massive size of the buffer you will most likely have to Sync or have it plugged into Clock Block reset before you hear sound. Otherwise, wait a few seconds.

I have included two versions: the normal one which has 8 layered grains per channel, and one that has 16 grains. The Large one has twice the cpu pull but potentially could create more complicated sounds since it is allowing more simultaneous grains to play at once. Enjoy!

Joey, please read the description of your block, there is nothing telling what this block is actually doing! I know this must be so obvious this isn't even worth to tell, but huh, a *real* description could be nice too no?

there is a problem with the reset gate. Somehow it does not connect to clock divider gates. I added an "A/E" in the "System Info" and now it seems to get the reset impulses as wanted.

Greg, Thank you. If I understand your request, you can actually do that already. If you click on the knob and bring up it's properties; under the function tab, underneath the snapshots heading, there is an option to Include in snaphots. If you unclick that, the knob will stop being reloaded when you load a snapshot.

Wow! love this. very musically useful to me. Thank you! I was wondering one thing. Would it be possible to add a lock to the mix button so it stays at the current setting when you change presets? Also, is it possible to include the version number in the ensemble itself? It can get messy otherwise...

Both Auto Time Stretcher and Outsomn Grain have this issue. I've never experienced these problems before, the designs for both have been around for 6 months. I suspect it has something to do with it's integration to block form. Just wanted to let you know I'm aware of it and see if I can find a way to fix it soon.

This is really great. Sometimes after a while it seems to freeze. Also I'm unable to wire reset up.

Thanks guys! Fixed it. The logo label was overlaying the time modulation slider.

Hi Joey, since the last update it seems, that the slider for the modulation amount of 'TIME', can only be triggered, if you click-drag in the upper half. for the other controls it works from both the upper- and lower-half (A and B mod).
