Instrument Sequencer

DESCRIPTION

based upon the following:

http://www.earslap.com/projectslab/otomata

Check out autosteam.ens for an example of what it can be used for (press play to begin!). Auto.ens is a bare bones ensemble that can be used in a host such as Ableton, and an instrument file is also included.

Read the instrument info for general instructions, mouse-over panel elements for info on any part of the GUI.

Special thanks to Batuhan Bozkurt for original concept, and to Jim Hurley for bug testing and suggestions, as well as just pushing development in general.

Please take the time to vote and/or comment, it really is appreciated. Thanks.

Hi mate. I love this. Am I missing something though? I can't seem to delete notes?

I really love this! My only wish would be to have the direction buttons able to respond to Midi CCs... :D Is it possible and I missed it?

Beautiful concept and execution! Unless I missed something, would make 1 suggestion: add arrow buttons with X through them to turn off a row or column that's running.

Two specific vsts that I like with Automata are rob papen's RG & U-he's Zebra.

This is excellent. Like a more controllable Spiral. Breathes new life into my favorite ensembles.

This is great - I'm going to have a look at adapting for use with the novation launchpad (or if someone else has already done so let me know!).

hey everybody, thanks for votes and comments! @william french - *please*, mod this to work with a monome, and upload it or send it my way!

Super-Cool, this ensemble is wicked fun! I'd like to try and add monome control since it sort of lends itself due to the grid arrangement.

a ten from me, bloody wonderfull. This running one instance of West Africa in channel 1 of the now discontinued Kore, with Spiral in another doing the same thing.....is a kind of Nirvana
