DESCRIPTION

Here is a mono synth i have just finished that is based on the great Roland systen700 modular synth.I think it`s layout is pretty straight forward to any use to synths. The various inputs in the modulation sections can be changed by dragging your mouse pointer up and down over the light blue backgrounded label.Hope it is of use to some one and have fun with it.cheers glyn.

Hi, great sounding synth. That said, when I re opened the project I was working on in Ableton I some settings were not the same. This is very disappointing as I really liked what I had going on in that tune.

Thanks a lot, If only there where no bugs, and it was finished. Trouble with lfo, pwm and some details and missing stuff as you know. This is otherwise a fine emulation. Tangerine Dream. If only everything worked. I wish.

fixed my midi problem. my fault, not the synth. Great synth!!!

I really like the sound of this and I'd like to use it more. But it is resisting my midi controller. I went to "sort and compress IDs" but that did not help. For some reason I can control the cutoff of VCF-1 with my midi controller. But everything else that I've tried does not respond. Any ideas? It's a really cool synth!!

A excellent piece of work. I once played with a real 700 and your emulation certainly does it justice.

... oh, and the LFO-2 macro /the one I was referring to in my above post) has most of its inputs not connected. Don't know if that's part of the original design, however they are still available on the panel. Just trying to be constructive here...

Great instrument! Appreciate the many hours this probably took to make it. Some remarks: in Preset 011 (and not exclusively there) there's audible zipper noise probably coming from a delay being modulated at event rate, which goes away if one switches from KEY TRIG. to OSC1 (?) or ups the control rate. Looking into that section, there's a macro called 1-2-5 Quantize, which is fed by a constant - I think that's not what you intended? The structure itself is hard to decipher, it would help if you used Send and Receives - at least that's what I do when it comes to complex structures. Makes it much easier to debug or add features later on. Thanks for the upload!!

This sounds great! But, is there an easy way to make this syncable with an external clock rather than the internal one?

Glyn, I would be more than happy to. I played another piece I made on the 700 for the guys at the label so they are now trying to decide which one they like best - haha! I was about to ask if it's possible to (this is going to sounds insane) route other synths through the 700 to make use of its capabilities? OR!! If you Youtube "monotribe midi Logic" and watch the video from Point Blank Music school, something like that? Hope I have been clear enough. Thanks.

Ok. I am finally coming to grips with this (and I finally voted). This ensemble gets better every time I use it! As such, I even used it for a track on my forthcoming EP. I am looking forward to the MKII but honestly?! I wouldn't "change" anything. I would like the ability to export to midi but the world won't end if that never happens. Thanks dude!

This is pretty awesome but I just haven't figured out how to make it work for me in my productions. This seems more suited for live applications as opposed to midi sequencing. Nonetheless, this is probably one of the best ensembles I have seen. I haven't voted only because I want to be fair and I don't think I can do so until I have come to terms with it.

Awesome work - love the old-school look, feel, and sound! (One niggle - in Live/Mac, the multi-select settings = - like LFO Freq mod: OSC1, OSC2, etc. - are not saved by host. I don't think it's a Live/Reaktor problem since I haven't (yet) seen it with other ensembles.)
