DESCRIPTION

Grain Modulator is a polyphonic granular sampler.

Most grain parameters can be modulated through dedicated LFO with multiple waveforms, BPM sync, simple shaping and quantization.

Although a simple old concept, it is capable of nice landscapes, robotic rhythms and modulation madness.

Some presets for the embedded sample map are included for your convenience.

Rick Scott's superb SpaceMaestro reverb is also added for spatialization means.

This ens is amazing! Took me awhile to get a hang of it, but once I did..... Man pure fun! Thanx for the upload! This is going to get a ton of use from me!

Just realized that i haven't add the keytracking for filter cutoff... shouldn't be difficult to add it on the filter section anyway, feel free to do it! Also be careful with the volume on this .ens.. i've been building without a midi controller for testing, and it is possible that there is some volume spikes for gates with high velocity values! Thanks for your previous comments and suggestions, glad to hear more

New in 1.2: -PitchBend -Amp Modulation, preGrain or postGrain process -GrainLen and GrainDist time selection -Comb filter type -AutoReverse chance algorithm -New presets -New samples on the bank

Oh, and while you're at it: Pitchbend sensitivity would be needed as well...

Great Ens. What I am missing is a keytracking param for the filter cutoff.

Just one thing: some parameters need to have their max levels reworked: Sample selector is fixed at 16, you should put it at 127 Grain length is also too short - especially for longer samples my ideal setting seems to be 350. Cheers Paul
