Reaktor 5 or lower

DESCRIPTION

My first attempt at a Reaktor ensemble. I spent about 16 hours on it, total. Heavily based on the tutorial I found at http://www.audiosoftwaretutor.com/ - who will be getting a nice little gift from me. I did the bulk of it yesterday (about 14 hours) and spent today checking it over and tidying it up.

Osc-1 and Osc-2 can be mixed together by the long horizontal fader below them, as can Osc-3 and Osc-4 which have their own fader just below them. There is a knob at the bottom right hand corner which can then mix the sums of [Osc-1 + Osc-2] with [Osc-3 + Osc-4]. There is a noise Osc but it doesn't affect the pitch parameters, just so you know.

The volume fader needs a bit of work, but it was my first time of using Reaktor and I just dived right in. There's loads of things I have absolutely no clue how to do, but when I see all the excellent stuff out there, I know there must be a way.

This is a work on progress and a very very rough sketch of a synth I designed about 5/6 years ago on paper and in my head. So this was just a quick prototype for me. Thankfully the tutorial I found actually covered a lot of the things I wanted to achieve. I still have the design and I'll get around to doing that at some point. I added a few things and changed some things about, but I couldn't have done it without that help.

It's nothing earth shattering, but it's quite usable and fun and I've got some decent stuff out of it so far. I'm looking forward to exploring a bit more this field of synthesis using LFOs and Mixers, in a simple but hopefully elegant design. I've included two colour themes in the package - amber and green on the controls with a grey background. It's easy on the eyes if nothing else.

Feel free to make any suggestions. I tested it so it at least won't blow up your ears or your speakers (I hope). As always, use caution.
