Booka Shade's Walter Merziger and Arno Kammermeier have been highly-regarded players in Germany's electronic music scene for well over a decade. Co-founders of the influential Berlin-based Get Physical imprint, they have also released three well-received albums, and countless singles. Vince Clarke

As founding member of Depeche Mode, Vince Clarke was among the first pop stars of electronic music. Already in the late 1970s, Clarke had started his collection of analog synthesizers that would eventually grow into a large and complex studio setup he used to produce the hits of his projects Yazoo and Erasure. Dave Gahan

Speedy J

Jochem Paap, otherwise know as Speedy J, released his breakthrough minimal techno track "Pullover" in 1992, with a follow up album released on Richie Hawtin's Plus 8 label. Since then Jochem, a long time NI user, has explored more experimental areas of electronic music, not least his new project, Umfeld TV, an audio visual surround sound project with visual artist Scott Pagano. Native Instruments recently caught up with Jochem.
