I have seen a special offer from NI: does that also apply for Educational Versions?
If it is not explicitly stated, then the special offer is not available for Educational Versions, as Educational Versions are significantly reduced compared to the full versions.
How many computers can I install the Educational Versions of the software on?
You may install an Educational Version on one computer. This corresponds to one hardware profile.
I have the Educational Version of a NI product - now the new version is available. How can I update?
The Educational Version entitles you to buy the normal full version update. You can find the prices in our Online Shop. The advantage is you then own a full version. There is no educational price-reduction for updates.

How often during my education can I buy Educational Versions of NI products?
Once per version.
Am I eligible to buy an Educational Version?
Eligible for educational products are employees and students of universities, academies, conservatories and of an institution that offers musical or multimedia training. The proof (scan or copy of the document of identification or work contract) should be sent to us together with your order by email or fax.

What different forms of Educational Version software does NI offer?
Educational Version software is available in two different forms: with and without a license server. Using a license server requires a network consisting of server(s) and clients.
Do I have to install license server software components in order to use a multi-license?
No, multi-licenses can be authorized online in the NI service center.
I require more than one license because I want to install the software on multiple computers. How can I do this?
First, decide how many spaces (called “seats”) you would like to equip. Then order this amount of licenses.
