Gater
The Gater rhythmically mutes parts of the audio at adjustable rates. The rate and the exact point of muting are controlled by the Master Clock. A hissing noise can be added to emphasize the rhythmical pattern.
Flanger
This flanger is an industry standard oldie but goodie, with tempo-based and "freerun" control, as well as buttery smooth stereo de-phasing.
Phaser Pulse
This automatic Phaser effect is triggered by peaks in the music, producing resonant "clonk" sounds. For best results, use it on percussive music that leaves some space between individual hits, such as drum loops.
Beatmasher 2
The Beatmasher is an amazing tempo-sync'd effect well known from earlier TRAKTOR versions and has now been rebuilt from scratch. It's a great tool to successively mash up any audio material.
Filter:92
This highly musical filter is modeled on the filters from Allen & Heath's Xone:92 mixer. The entire frequency spectrum is at your command with high and low pass, resonant, band reject and one knob DJ modes.
Flanger Pulse
Like the Phaser Pulse, this innovative, semi-automatic Flanger effect is triggered by signal peaks in the music, producing interesting "lashing" sounds.
Mulholland Drive
This highly sensitive effect boasts two independent overdrive units and "mind-of-its-own" self-oscillating behavior. This one's very hard to describe - but just listen to the drastic effect it has on the hip-hop drum loop in this demo!
Transpose Stretch
This advanced effect combines a classic pitch shifter with time stretching and granular effects. Use it to loop parts of your track, pitch it up or down while controlling the size of the individual grains - all on the fly.
Iceverb
This innovative effect uses its filter independently of reverb feedback. The result is a highly animated reverb that emphasizes musical resonances. For interesting pitch effects, you can freeze the reverb and tweak the room size.
Reverb
Classic, industry-standard reverb with extreme room sizes, individual low pass & high pass filter controls and freeze function. The super-easy one knob mode lets you use this workhorse effect even in the busiest of situations.
Turntable FX
This effect authentically emulates the sounds produced by back spinning and slowing down a record playing on a turntable. Adjustable brake, rewind, slow down and speed up times guarantee realistic vinyl sound.
Reverse Grain
This buffer-based effect samples chunks of the tracks you are playing and plays back the result in reverse. This can be mangled even further by changing the pitch, grain size and speed of the looped audio.
Delay
Classic, industry-standard tempo-sync'd delay with freeze button. The rate of the delay is controlled directly by Traktor's master clock to ensure that the delay always stays in sync, even during tempo changes.
Mulholland Drive
Mulholland Drive's feedback works best in emptier parts of tracks, where the self-oscillation has time to develop. With less dynamic musical material the effect functions as a bright overdrive.
Iceverb
When taken to extremes, Iceverb can be used to coax completely new harmonic content from your tracks, while leaving its rhythmical structure intact.
Transpose Stretch
Transpose Stretch boasts considerable potential for highly unusual results. Extreme pitch settings, especially in conjunction with smaller grain sizes make for some weird and wonderful sounds.
Phaser Pulse
Phaser Pulse differs from standard phasers in that it reacts to the dynamic peaks of the music. The result is a highly percussive form of phasing, perfect for use with rhythmical music.
