Traktor Pro and new installation of OSX 10.6

I made a new installation of OSX 10.6 Snow Leopard
Everythings works fine.
I downloaded Traktor 1.0.2 Installer.mpkg (Traktor Pro) from your website.

After install i try to activate my Software.
ServiceCenter starts, it says all products are activated, all Updates are ok,
but there is no Traktor Pro in the Overview.
When i start Traktor again, it always asks for BUY,DEMO and ACTIVATE.
I downloaded the ServiceCenter again, install, same procedure again, but no effect.
I deleted the plist files, deinstall, made a new install of traktor pro...no effect !

Is there a problem with 10.6 ?
Did i something wrong ?
A friend of mine made an update from 10.5 to 10.6
and his traktor pro is running....

Please can you help me.

First of all you need to download the latest version of TPro 1.1.2
Always make sure you up to date.
you can download the installer from the Support Section on the Website (Login Required).

If you still have issues with Service Centre and Activation we can try another solution but update first.

Have you still got Leopard? If so go back to that, I don't believe SL is supported by NI as yet.

I have installed the newest Beta on Snow leopard! No problems at all!

with version 1.1.2 - yess. You need to move Library Folder (which TP installed in wrong place) from Application folder to YourHD - Library - Application Support - Native Instruments - Traktor PRo.

If this is done - everything just works.

Ok, this problem with Service Center under Snow Leopard seems not to affect the Beta just the previous versions.

This is the solution to Activation/Service Center problems with SL:

BEFORE ATTEMPTING THIS MAKE A BACKUP.

Under Snow Leopard some folders from application support
will copied to the wrong location, resulting in the issue that Service
Center will not detect Traktor for activation and that it can not find
the factory settings folder at startup. Here is how you can fix it
(provided by Andreas):

- Close all application.

- Copy the "Traktor.xml" file from:

Applications/ Library/ Application Support/ Native Instruments/ Service
Center

to:

Macintosh HD/ Library/ Application Support/ Native Instruments/ Service
Center

- Copy the "factory settings" folder from:

Applications/ Library/ Application Support/ Native Instruments/ Traktor

to:

Macintosh HD/ Library/ Application Support/ Native Instruments/ Traktor

- Restart your computer.

Now Traktor can be activated with the Service Center and should run fine.

Karlos Santos is right !
I got an answer from NI to do the same like Karlos Santos.
Now, Traktor is found in the service center and can be activated.
I updated to 1.1.2, OK.

But now, when i start traktor i got the message:

NO DEFAULT SETTINGS FOUND. PLEASE RE-INSTALL.

when i push OK, Traktor is running...no problems.

But Whatīs that about ?
Do i have to trust and reinstall again ?

@networker75 :What happened after you closed the application and then restarted.
My guess is that all is ok as Traktor created the Settings file needed.

Please let me know how you got on so i can follow this up.

In your opinion what's better procedure?
  1. Waiting for new Traktor Scratch Pro v1.2 (public release, NOT BETA), install Traktor Scratch Pro v1.2 on Mac OS X Leopard, backup the MacBook, install Mac OS X Snow Leopard (with Hard Disk initializing) and restore from a past backup done with Mac OS X Leopard;
  2. Backup my MacBook with Mac OS X Leopard, install Mac OS X Snow Leopard (with Hard Disk initializing), restore from a past backup done with Mac OS X Leopard and waiting for new Traktor Scratch Pro v1.2 (public release, NOT BETA) and install Traktor Scratch Pro v1.2?

@ Carlos Santos:

I made the changes like u and NI wrote me.
After that i was able to activate my TraktorPro.

In the SC i updated to 1.1.2 (i Found only the 1.0.2
in the member area of NI).

Restart, start Traktor and then i got the message:
NO DEFAULT SETTNGS FOUND. PLEASE RE-INSTALL

i copied the the Factory settings folder again and now:

everything is fine !

By the way: now Problems with my fasttrack pro audiodriver
on SnowLeopard. I got the New Driver 1.7.1 beta from m-audio.

Now I'am happy with Snow Leopard.
