Reaktor 5 or lower
Instrument Sequencer

DESCRIPTION

no!tron is a magik midi sequencing instrument or at least, it will be one day. very long and rambling html document included. please read all. thank you, and have a very merry christmas! also, don’t hesitate to experiment. change your sequences drastically, all editing is non-destructive... i.e. you can always recall a sequence to its original state (most recently stored state) by loading the relevant snapshot again.
six hours after upload and already a bad bad bug thanks to math modules resending their values all the time. in the first version sustain could be activated internally by changing snaps (the light would not turn red, it would just stop sending the note offs) fixed. you may have to toggle sustain on and off twice the first time you turn it on. when changing snaps, you may occasionally experience stuck notes. no idea why, didn't do it for two days. very irregular. in case this happens (and is not because sustain or kill are currently active ) there is now an all notes off button located between the chord section and the pitch bend section. if you are using hardware, the knob below this button selects what channel to send the all notes off.

christ on a bike, I think I need a change of underthings - is this the second best Reaktor ensemble ever? Quite possibly! Weedwacker loves it too, BTW :)

Actually one of the best sequencers out noticed out here.. Afew things I would like to see or figure out.. I would like to see a way to see the note value of each note when in edit mode. It seems if I select for example Note 1, it will just display whatever was the note or last used note before..Would also be cool if it could show the value per each note and another mode to show which notes have been edited, like they would stay on RED color or on red to show they have been altered (like a Notron)..Maybe a edit button , once pressed it shows all Red notes and what is being changed..? Maybe I'm just doing something wrong though..Anyway, thanks for the great piece and hope for more updates..! Also , How do I enter make my own chords presets? Do you have a email contact?

Pretty impressive work here..Just wish the manual was a bit more easier to read..This is kinda close to a real Notron.. I just ask for a better manual..

i am very, very sorry about the "instructions." this was a total rush job. just wanted to get something up for christmas, and before i sent my tibook off for new hinges :( and yes, it is normal for it to take a very long time to open. actually it took about the same amount of time to load before it had any pictures (originally i just used rgb lamps). its just that its teetering so very close to the maximum number of modules reaktor will let you have in an instrument. *listening to ‘the hands of caravaggio’* thank you for your perseverance :)

this is very good (i think).....the instructions (html ) are very hard to read as there are no paragraphs. i spent ages re-spacing them and they still gave me a headache;-) anyway i will persevere because i think this is an important upload. also it does take a longtime to load because of all the pictures.

great! this is the seq i was looking for! only thing: on my machine, a powerbook 867 with osx it takes about one minute to load. Is it normal? Thanks!

i have not been able to get “the stuck note when changing snaps” problem to surface with any other reaktor synths (besides junatik), or with external hardware, so maybe you should ignore the demonstration ensemble and just use it with your synth of choice. i think this, as well as the many stuck notes people claim to experience when using reaktor inside their sequencing software, may have something to do with how the instrument in question handles polyphonic gates. if there is any truth to this theory, you should never experience stuck notes using no!rton with internal mono synths, so please let me know if you do, thanks :]
