DESCRIPTION

i tried to build a synth with a good modulation matrix, but i have rather experience in synth-theory! this is why i put this one in the test are, so i hope i can improve this machine with your help - so please drop a line, if you have any suggestions!
the ensemble contains only 3 snaps, 'cause it's still in progress - anyway... hope you'll give it a chance!

thank you very much liam....yes, indeed - with random snapshots it tends to be a very "glitchy" instrument... *gg* but it's also possible to edit some "harmonic" sounding snaps, i will do so as quick as i can! :D further i followed phils advice to make the fx-section mono, now it's cpu-hunger is not so huge! the new revision is now with monophonic fx...

I've uploaded several snapshot files to the Sounds part of the library. One of the 'glitchiest' synths I have ever used.

Great sounds. The Randomize function in Snapshots works well with this synth. Thanks for your efforts.

mhhh..... 2-pole filters do not sound as this combination of 2 serial 4-pole lp's! now i have a filter edge of 48 db/oktave....or do you mean 4 2-pole filtes? i'd guess, this'd be more cpu-intensive, is'nt it?

yes other filters such as 2-Pole ones.

thanks phil! fx mono? sound good, i will try this out! indeed, the noise macros use a lot of cpu power... what would you suggest me to do? other filters?

i think there are some nice ideas here, but i notice it is a bit of a CPU hog. i suggest putting and Audio Voice Combiner in front of the FX and making the fx macro mono...this will save a lot of CPU. also, i think your noise macros on both oscillators are using loads of CPU because you have included 2 Pro-52 filters in each macro. maybe you could think of a less CPU intensive version here?
