Interested in seeing if
a) this item is any good link
b) works with Traktor 3 and above.
a) It is a nice little controller, with the same quality Hercules has been using for her DJ Series in the latest few years (Mk2, Rmx, etc).
b) It's a MIDI controller, so yes it will work with T3 and above ( there is a mapping available on the support site for Traktor Pro)
Thanks for that. So I take it that it is a cheap but good controller for a beginner?
Yes, it is a compact DJ control surface for beginners and casual DJs.
You can read the user manual on Hercules tech support website http://ts.hercules.com/download/sound/manuals/MP3_E2/01_DJ_Control_MP3_e2_ENG.pdf
i started djing with that thing, later i got the nanokontrol to control effects and mix
it's really good to learn the basics and to find out if djing is something for you
build quality is ok, lightyears ahead of the first version especially the jogwheels
however, one jogwheel started to have a higher resistance than the other one after some time
tried silicone spray but it didn't help, lube however did
i sued it a lot in the half year i had it and abused it pretty good but it still looked and felt like new except for the jogwheels but i didn't even need them
Cheers for all the help. Think I might invest in one shortly.
do it...i got one along with a x-session pro for less than a hundred bucks...i played on 1200s and CDjs for years...this is my jump into the digital DJ-ing...
