    Hi there,

new user here. How can I turn off a pattern from the Controller?

    What I mean:
In the software it will show active patterns highlighted / full color, while Inactive patterns are like greyish.
When I click an active pattern in the software, I can deactivate it. <- How can I do this on the controller?

The only (annoying) workarounds I know is to tap an empty slot and create a new empty pattern, or to use "Mute" on a group. That's not what I want, it really confuses the seamless workflow when you suddenly have empty patterns and muted groups.

    Thanks,
    Manuel.

    Hi Manuel,
It's in the Manual … on page 759:

Removing a Pattern from a Scene on the Controller
Removing a Pattern is also done in Pattern mode:
To remove the Pattern for the selected Group from the selected Scene, press PATTERN + Button 2 (REMOVE).

    cheers

It really should be a toggle like on Jam.

definitely! But at the moment …

By the way, I prefer the functionality from Komplete Kontrol.

This isn't working for me, the manual didn't show any information for removing patterns from scenes on the controller. What button 2 are you referring to?

It depends, are you on a Mk3, or a Mikro Mk3? It's actually rather simple, >> you have to be where you select the pattern <<, so the 4x4 represents the patterns, with the one currently playing lit up. Then you just have to go to the top row with the 8 buttons above the screens. One of those is now labelled "Remove". If you press it, it will remove the active pattern from the scene.

    Hope that helped.
