The Batucada is a Brazilian band composed exclusively of percussion instruments, traditionally accompanied by a parade of costumed dancers at carnival. This is the most in-depth Batucada library you will find, sampling 33 drummers playing in unison and the ensemble split into sections with up to 88 drums. There’s also 5 timbas, 9 tamborims, 6 guaches, 11 chocalhos, 12 caixas (snares), 12 repiniques, 12 surdos, 11 dobras, and 10 cowbells. 33 Drummers Batucada includes multiple microphone positions and samba reggae, samba, pagode, and funk styles.
