themkl is an electro-mechanical keyboard with 16 dynamic layers that has been expanded with 60 sound design sources. These were made with tape loops, modular effects, and physical modeling. Housed in an MPE-compatible engine with dual granular/looping cores, themkl provides a massive palette for creating unique and intricate sounds.

About THEPHONOLOOP

Born out of a love for experimenting with sound, THEPHONOLOOP is a two-person team in Poland, creating sample-based instruments with character. They are known for expressive, noise-infused instruments with a focus on musicality, sound design, and exploration.
