Does it come with DJ software included?

MX2 comes with the full version of Traktor Pro 4.
Can I use the Traktor MX2 without a computer?

No, the MX2 must connect via USB to a computer running Traktor Pro 4.
Can I use it without a power supply?

MX2 requires a power supply, which comes included in the box.
Is it compatible with Traktor Pro 3 or 4 software?

No – a full version of Traktor Pro 4 is required but comes included free.
What are Mixer FX?
+
Mixer FX are simple but powerful one-dial effects for adding to your sets in the heat of the moment. They can all be assigned to the Filter dial on your MX2 controller. There are eight available effects, including Delay, Reverb, and Gater.
Does the MX2 include controls for Deck FX in Traktor Pro 4?

Yes, the MX2 offers full control over two of Traktor's powerful Deck FX units, with access to 40+ studio-quality effects that can be tweaked and layered for a totally new sound. Deck FX also offers control over the Pattern Player.
Are the jog wheels motorized?

No – they are the same size as Traktor S4’s jog wheels, but they are not motorized
Can I change the mapping?

Some parts of the mapping can be easily adjusted via the dedicated MX2 Preference Page.
Can I use the MX2 as a MIDI controller for other software?

Yes. The unit can be switched in and out of MIDI mode by pressing both SHIFT buttons at the same time. The LEDs will switch to blue to indicate MIDI mode.
Can I use MX2 alongside other Traktor controllers?

Yes – for example you could use it together with Traktor F1 to control clips in a Remix Deck.
