Reaktor 5 or lower

DESCRIPTION

Now updated with more than double the snaps, a new continuously smoothable random waveshape for all three LFOs, some bug fixes, and a new mp3 file.

The mp3 file is a song I made that uses only the Atom Smasher as a sound source. There are 5 instances of the ensemble running in Sonar, with just some added reverb for effect.

=======================
Description
This synth uses two experimental four-windowed oscillators. Each is composed of a controllable stepped/smeared panner that sweeps through four oscillator signal sources. The eight "windows" have individual amplitude, frequency mulitplier, and phase or pulse width controls.

There are multiple routable control sources, including 3 beat-syncable LFOs and 4 envelopes (one assignable), some of which can control each other, making for some very interesting sounds. Each control routing is individually mixable, and control lines are clearly indicated on the GUI.

This ensemble really shines when used as a rhythmic bed in a sequencer where Reaktor can sync to the tempo of your piece.

Please let me know what you think. This is the first of my oddities that I've felt upload-worthy, so I'd really appreciate the feedback.

Comes with 32 snaps.

I think this one is a little under-rated, lovely sounds coming out of this

I hope you all like the new LFO type, and the new snaps. Some of them get kind of wild. A bug fix was necessary that may affect snaps you have created. In order to bring them back where they were, you may need to adjust either or both of the "voltage" knobs. If you wish to match the sound exactly, add the values of the two control knobs directly under each Voltage knob to the setting of the Voltage knob (rounding, if necessary). I did this with all the original snaps, and they sound identical to their previous versions.

Thanks for the kind words, guys. Rick, speaking of gooey sci-fi reverb, yes, this instrument sounds GREAT with it! I just uploaded an mp3 sample file on which a bit of "goo" was added via a Sonitus Reverb. I prefer to let users pick their own reverb units, however, and anyway, aren't there enough knobs already? :D
