At the core of SuperStarSaw are its two stacks of oscillators, called Swarms. Each Swarm consists of one fundamental saw wave oscillator, plus up to 16 additional saw wave oscillators. Unlike traditional supersaw oscillators, the Swarms provide you with complete control over the pitch, pan, and amplitude of each saw wave, meaning you can go from huge supersaw sounds, to wandering atonal clusters, massive stacked chords, and everything in between.

Using the Swarms
Set the number of active oscillators in the swarm with the Oscs control. Use the Spread, Symm, Quant, To chord, Skew, and Detune controls to adjust the pitches of each oscillator in the swarm. Width, Flip, and Warp determine the stereo spread of the oscillator swarm.
The volume of the swarming oscillators can be controlled with the Tilt, Type, and Mix controls. Finally, the three Motion controls introduce variable pitch, pan, and amplitude modulation that is applied to each individual oscillator, with the Phase and Rate controls changing the character of the modulation.
Note
To learn more about a control, hover your mouse over it to show a description in the info pane at the bottom of the instrument.
