Voice controls

Abstract

The voice controls provide complete command over all eight of SuperStarSaws voices.

The voice controls provide complete command over all eight of SuperStarSaws voices. In addition to the traditional monophonic and polyphonic modes, you will also find powerful unison and poly-unison assignment modes.

Using the voice controls

Poly toggles between monophonic and polyphonic modes. With Unison engaged, SuperStarSaw will utilize all eight voices at once, with additional controls to influence the Detune and Stereo of the voices.

Use the Glide control to introduce pitch sliding between notes, or use the eight faders to set different glide times for each of the eight voices. Different glide modes can be selected with Legato (Poly on) or Last note (Poly off), while the Shape control adjusts the contour of the gliding pitch.

Lastly, Constant rate/time lets you decide whether all glides should have the same duration, or differ depending on how far apart the notes are.
