TRANSIENT MASTER's concise interface enables you to quickly find the right settings and fine-tune your sound. You can use its two main parameters, Attack and Sustain, to adjust the strength of the transients and the sustain. Gain allows you to control the overall level. Options for the transient response and output limiting can be activated using additional buttons.

TRANSIENT MASTER contains the following parameters and controls:

  1. Attack: Adjusts the strength of the sound's transient, or attack phase. At the center position, the attack is unaltered. Turning the control to the left makes the attack softer, while turning it to the right makes the attack sharper.

  2. Sustain: Adjusts the strength of the sound's body and decay, or sustain phase. At the center position, the sustain is unaltered. Turning the control to the left makes the sustain less pronounced, while turning it to the right makes the sustain more pronounced.

  3. Gain: Adjusts the output level of the effect, enabling you to compensate for any gain changes introduced by the Attack and Sustain controls.

  4. Smooth: Activates a smoother attack response specifically designed for guitar, producing less distortion particularly in heavily sustained and distorted sounds. Other sounds like acoustic guitar and drums can benefit from deactivating the Smooth function to achieve faster attacks.

  5. Limit: Activates the output limiter that prevents the signal from clipping. This can be useful when high Attack settings excessive signal levels.
