Ein einzigartiger Sound

Das Balafon ist weit verbreitet in Teilen des Nordens von Ghana, in Burkina Faso und im Südosten von Mali. Klangstäbe aus Hartholz sind über hohlen Kürbissen aufgehängt. Seide oder Papier decken kleine Löcher in diesen Kalebassen ab, schwingen mit und erzeugen so das charakteristische Schnarren. Wassolou Balafon kommt mit einer 800 MB großen Library, die perfekt ist für Kompositionen und Produktionen, die frische und ungehörte Sounds brauchen.
