ROMANTIC ON A MONUMENTAL SCALE
The organ in All Saints Church, Tooting is considered to be one of the finest examples of Harrison & Harrison's work. Built in 1906 and voiced by the great Arthur Harrison – surely the first celebrity sound-designer – it is particularly notable for its delicate and quiet registers, as well as the lowest bass you’ve ever heard. Tonally unaltered since it was installed in the church over 100 years ago, it features 41 stops – not including couplings – and we’ve sampled 25 of these in full, covering every note.
Since 2005 Soniccouture has redefined sampling as a medium for virtual instruments. The first developer to offer specialised single instruments in forensic detail, their work has a living, organic quality that means their instruments are used by musicians and composers across multiple genres and disciplines.
