Can any generic splitter cable create two individual stereo outputs out of one stereo socket?
No, this is technically impossible. You simply can’t create two stereo signals out of the single stereo output delivered by iOS devices.

Does the TRAKTOR DJ CABLE provide two stereo signals?
No, the TRAKTOR DJ CABLE provides two mono signals. Each mono signal is simultaneously sent to the headphone left and right outputs and to left and right speaker of the playback system. The signal you hear is not a true stereo image, but a mono signal copied onto two channels.

Can I use the TRAKTOR DJ CABLE with my laptop and TRAKTOR PRO 2?
Yes you can. You’ll need to tick the MONO box for each output, then assign only one channel per output.
