Additional browsing features in Komplete Kontrol and Kontakt

If you have a preset loaded, but want to change it for another preset based on all of the same Knob selections (Brand, Product, etc.), just hold down the Shift button on the Kontrol keyboard and press Button 3. This can really speed up finding presets that are similar to each other.

All of the presets that you have loaded using the Browser have been factory presets, which are presets created by the developers of the plug-ins or Kontakt libraries that are present on your computer.

User presets are created by using the user interface of Komplete Kontrol or Kontakt directly, which is currently inaccessible. However, some 3^rd-party developers provide accessible NKS preset packs for popular plug-ins and libraries and these presets will show up as User presets in the Browser. To toggle between browsing Factory and User presets, just press Button 5.

You can tag any Factory or User preset as a Favorite, which can really speed up finding those sounds that you use a lot.

All you need to do to tag a preset as a Favorite is to press Button 7 (Set Favorite) when you have the desired preset selected and before loading it by pressing Button 8 or the 4-D encoder.

When you want to load one of your Favorite presets, press the Browser button on your Kontrol keyboard, then toggle between browsing your Favorites and your entire collection of presets by pressing Button 6 (Favorites). You can then use the Knobs as you have done previously to load one of your favorite presets.
